Lime rotary kiln has many advantages in the processing of lime. It is also called lime kiln and is a highly professional calcination equipment. Its main advantages include large production capacity, noiseless work, low comprehensive energy consumption, etc.
As the main equipment for processing lime, it is used for the calcination production of 150 tons - 1500 tons of quicklime per day.
The rotary lime kiln is mainly used in lime processing production lines, calcium carbonate processing production lines, etc., and is also used in building materials, chemical industries, environmental protection, and other industries.
1. Save Operating Costs
The new lime rotary kiln adopts new combustion technology, which can make full use of fuel energy, improve combustion efficiency, reduce energy consumption and operating costs, and save operating costs for customers.
2. Low Material Cost
On the basis of the preheater, the lime temperature out of the cooler is 80 ℃+ambient temperature, so it is convenient for transportation and storage. The secondary air entering the kiln can be preheated to more than 700 ℃, reducing moving parts and special materials.
3. Good Lime Quality
The lime produced by the new lime rotary kiln equipment has the advantages of strong chemical reaction, small bulk density, large specific surface area, etc., and is the most important auxiliary material in the steel making, coking, calcium carbide and other industries at home and abroad.
4. Environmental Protection And Energy Conservation

It not only protects the environment, but also conforms to the national development requirements of energy conservation, emission reduction and low-carbon environmental protection.
5. High Decomposition Rate
Its structure is advanced, low-pressure loss vertical preheater can effectively improve preheating effect, the decomposition rate of preheated limestone can reach 20-25%, and 10-15mm fine-grained limestone can be directly used.
6. Low Energy Consumption
Reliable combined scale seal at both ends of rotary kiln has the air leakage coefficient less than 10%, in addition, the composite refractory material can reduce the radiation heat loss and has a low energy consumption. the equipment maintenance is simple.
1. The raw material for producing lime is a natural calcium carbonate (commonly known as limestone). The lime rotary kiln is a continuous rotary kiln where calcines limestone at high temperature to be produced into lime (CaO).
2. The rotary kiln is composed of cylinder, supporting device, supporting device with retaining wheel, transmission device, movable kiln head, kiln tail sealing device, burner and other components.
3. The cylinder of the lime rotary kiln is made of steel plate, and the cylinder is inlaid with refractory lining, and has a specified slope with the horizontal line. It is supported by three (or more) wheel belts on the supporting device of each block.
4. A large gear ring is fixed on the span cylinder near the wheel belt at the feeding end with a tangential spring plate, and a small gear is meshed with it. During normal operation, the main drive motor transmits power to the open gear unit through the main reducer to drive the rotary kiln, and materials enter the kiln for calcination from the kiln tail (the high end of the cylinder).
5. Due to the tilt and slow rotation of the cylinder, the material rolls both in the circumferential direction and moves along the axial direction (from the high end to the low end), and continues to complete its process. Finally, the generated clinker enters the cooler for cooling through the kiln head cover.The flame generated by fuel combustion is injected into the kiln from the kiln head, and the waste gas generated by combustion is exported from the kiln tail after exchanging with materials.
